Straight Shooter(1939)

Straight Shooter is a Western film centered on a valuable hidden fortune and the ruthless people who'll stop at nothing to claim it. After Martin is murdered, he leaves behind half a million dollars in bonds concealed somewhere on his ranch. His killer Brainard, an undercover Inspector Carson posing as the drifter Sam Brown, and Martin's niece Margaret all converge on the property as it heads to auction. Each player has their own agenda and their own secrets, setting the stage for a tense battle of wits and wills. With deception and danger at every turn, the race to locate the hidden bonds before the ranch is sold becomes a high-stakes game where trust is a luxury no one can afford.
