Dobbiamo parlare is an Italian comedy-drama about two couples colliding in a Rome penthouse. Vanni, a novelist, and Linda share their apartment with Alfredo and Constanza, a surgeon and dermatologist whose marriage is crumbling. What begins as a casual evening among friends spirals into chaos when Alfredo and Constanza, desperate to unload years of resentment, essentially hold Vanni and Linda hostage in their own living room. Accusations fly about past betrayals and present grievances. As the hosts attempt to mediate the breakdown, they're drawn into their own bitter recriminations. By night's end, the evening has descended into raw conflict, with real damage—emotional and physical—left in its wake. The film captures how quickly civility can shatter when suppressed frustrations finally erupt among people who thought they knew each other.
