Angamaly Diaries(2017)

Angamaly Diaries is a Malayalam film following six young friends in a small town who attempt to launch a pork business under Vincent Pepe's leadership. Despite the gangsters Rajan and Ravi having killed one of their own in a brutal gang fight, the friends strike a business deal with them anyway. Vincent harbors plans to immigrate abroad with his girlfriend Sakhi, but their ambitions unravel as tensions with the gangsters escalate and the business arrangement crumbles. The film captures the collision between small-town entrepreneurship and the violent criminal underworld, trapping the friends between survival and escape.
