Case Unknown(2009)

Case Unknown is a Polish drama set in Wroclaw during the catastrophic 1997 floods. As hospitals evacuate, ambitious psychiatrist Konstanty Grot transports a catatonic patient to safety. The man has resisted all therapeutic contact—until a single, cryptic gesture on the bus triggers an unexpected recognition in the doctor. Convinced the patient holds a hidden connection to his own past, Grot pursues an unconventional treatment approach. What unfolds is a tense psychological journey amid urban chaos, where the line between healer and patient blurs.
