Galloping Thunder(1946)
GALLOPING OUT OF THE WEST...RAISING CAIN ON THE RANGE
Galloping Thunder is a Western film about cattle rustling and undercover investigation in Arizona. When ranchers' herds are mysteriously stampeded and stolen, the Arizona Stockmen's Syndicate dispatches investigator Steve Reynolds to infiltrate the criminal operation. Reynolds assumes the identity of a ruthless gunslinger called Buck McCloud to gain the gang's trust, then transforms into the Durango Kid to sabotage their schemes from within. The investigation uncovers that town banker Grat Hanlon orchestrates the entire rustling ring, complicating matters when Reynolds discovers Hanlon's fiancée Jud Temple's loyalty to the operation. The film balances action and deception as Reynolds navigates his dual identity to dismantle the conspiracy.
