Now, New York has a new weapon - A cop with his own way of fighting crime.

The Protector is an action film following Billy Wong, a New York City cop seeking justice after his partner is killed during a robbery. When a wealthy businessman's daughter is kidnapped while Billy and his new partner Danny Garoni work security at a fashion show, federal authorities suspect her father has ties to Mr. Ko, a Hong Kong drug lord. The police commissioner dispatches the two detectives to Hong Kong to investigate, thrusting them into a dangerous underworld of crime and corruption. As Billy pursues the case, he must navigate unfamiliar territory and confront powerful enemies while uncovering the truth behind the kidnapping and his partner's death.
