The Zainab Salbi Project is a documentary series following the Iraqi-American humanitarian and founder of Women for Women International as she travels globally to meet people navigating the intersecting challenges of class, gender, ethnicity, and belief. From France to India and Mexico to Thailand, Salbi listens to personal stories that illuminate how these forces shape individual lives. The series reveals the common threads of human experience across vastly different cultures and circumstances, grounding complex social issues in intimate conversation and lived experience.
