Sultan and Berger(1983)

Sultan and Berger is an animated series that begins when a vain, grotesque sultan awakens from a terrifying nightmare. A royal diviner interprets the dream as a dire prophecy: arrows of doom will rain down on the sultan's head during the next full moon. Gripped by fear, the sultan falls gravely ill, setting off a chain of events that will test his nerve and the loyalty of those around him. As the fateful night approaches, the sultan must confront both the supernatural threat and his own cowardice. The series blends dark humor with fantastical elements, exploring themes of vanity, mortality, and the absurd lengths people will go to escape their fate.
