End of Summer is a romantic comedy series following Wataru, a high school student determined to win over Mai, a wealthy and reserved girl, before summer ends. As he pursues his dream romance, Wataru navigates constant interference from those around him: his best friend Kazuya chasing after Kurumi, the tomboyish Misa protecting her friend Mako, the bossy Satomi, and Mai's snobbish guardian Kenji, who dismisses Wataru for his modest background. Caught between his own ambitions and the social barriers erected by class and circumstance, Wataru must find a way through the chaos to reach Mai's heart before the season slips away.
