The Battle Among the Clans(1985)

The Battle Among the Clans is a series set in Hong Kong during 1945, as Japanese occupation ends and the British colonial government struggles to reassert control. In the power vacuum, citizens hunt down remaining collaborators while underground societies and rival legions emerge across the city. Each faction fights to dominate Hong Kong's streets in an era of weak governance and rampant corruption. The show follows the violent territorial conflicts between these competing organizations as they vie for supremacy in a lawless, transitional period.
