Bachelor Father is an American sitcom starring John Forsythe as a bachelor raising his young niece, with Noreen Corcoran and Sammee Tong in supporting roles. The series premiered on CBS in September 1957, then moved to NBC for its third season in 1959 before finishing its run on ABC from 1961 to 1962. Across five seasons, 157 episodes aired. Based on the General Electric Theater episode "A New Girl in His Life," Bachelor Father holds the distinction of being the only primetime series to air consecutively on all three major television networks during its original run.
