Trip of the Million(1984)

Trip of the Million is an Egyptian drama following Sonbol, a man who travels to Cairo seeking employment and stays with his uncle, a gardener at a wealthy villa. There, the villa's owner, Mr. Latif, exploits Sonbol's naïveté and good nature, tricking him into selling one of his kidneys. Desperate to reclaim what he's lost and build a better life, Sonbol embarks on an ambitious quest to become rich. The series traces his transformation as he navigates the harsh realities of Cairo's underworld and the moral compromises required to climb from poverty to wealth.
