Monkey Business follows Jim and Dr. Alison Cronin as they run Monkey World, a primate rescue sanctuary in Dorset. The series documents their globe-trotting missions to rescue abused primates and bring them back to the facility for rehabilitation. Once at Monkey World, rescued animals are reintegrated into social groups and given the chance to live as naturally as possible alongside their own kind. The show captures both the challenges of animal rescue and the rewards of watching traumatized primates heal and form bonds with one another in a safe environment.
