Liberty Street(1995)

Liberty Street is a Canadian drama series that aired on CBC Television in 1995. Created by Kit Hood and Linda Schuyler, the producers behind the acclaimed Degrassi franchise, the show follows a group of young adults navigating independent life for the first time. The series grew from a 1994 pilot film called X-Rated into an 11-episode run. The ensemble cast features Henriette Ivanans, Joel Bissonnette, Billy Merasty, Kimberly Huie, and Pat Mastroianni. Filmed in and around Toronto's Liberty Village neighbourhood, Liberty Street captures the challenges and discoveries of early adulthood with the same character-driven approach that defined its creators' earlier work.
