Cuba Libre(2022)

Cuba Libre follows Annie Silva Pais, daughter of Portugal's final PIDE secret police director, who abandons her comfortable life at thirty to join the Cuban revolution. Leaving behind her husband, family, and homeland, she becomes swept up in the island's political upheaval and develops a romantic connection with Che Guevara. The series traces her transformation from privileged exile to revolutionary, set against the turbulent backdrop of 1950s Cuba and the ideological fervor that reshaped the nation.
