Mundo de Juguete(1974)

Mundo de Juguete is a Mexican telenovela produced by Televisa in 1974, based on the earlier series Papá Corazón. The show became a landmark production, running for 605 episodes—the second longest in Latin American telenovela history. While most telenovelas air for six to eight months, Mundo de Juguete's extended run was unusual for the era. Following the 1985 Mexico City earthquake, some fans speculated that archival materials were lost when Televisa's facilities were damaged. However, the series has been broadcast multiple times since then, including reruns on Canal 9 during the 1990s and later on Unicable. Televisa eventually remade the story in 2000 as Carita de Angel, introducing the narrative to a new generation of viewers.
