Surviving Summer follows rebellious Brooklyn teenager Summer Torres, who's uprooted to the small coastal town of Shorehaven on Victoria's Great Ocean Road. Sent to stay with family friends as punishment for her wild ways, Summer expects to hate every minute in this quiet seaside community. Instead, she discovers an unexpected passion for surfing and gradually falls for the town's laid-back charm and its tight-knit group of locals. As Summer navigates new friendships, romance, and the pull of the ocean, she must decide whether to return to her old life in New York or embrace the transformation happening in this Australian beach town. The series captures the tension between a city girl's rebellious spirit and the genuine connection she finds in an unlikely place.
