A Man Called Shenandoah(1965)
A Man Called Shenandoah is an American Western series that aired on ABC from 1965 to 1966. Robert Horton stars as a drifter searching for his identity after losing his memory, navigating the Old West while piecing together his past. Despite vowing never to return to television Westerns after his run on Wagon Train, Horton took the role believing it offered fresh creative challenges. MGM Television produced 34 half-hour black and white episodes, with location filming across California's High Sierras and Mojave Desert. The series blends classic Western adventure with mystery, following Shenandoah as he encounters various characters who might hold clues to his true identity. Only 29 episodes survive; five were lost and remain unavailable.
