Kenjusho: Mitsukuni and I(2021)

Kenjusho: Mitsukuni and I is a historical action series set in Edo-period Japan. Young Tokugawa Mitsukuni recruits Ryosuke, a skilled orphan swordsman, into Juninshu—a secret organization of talented orphans who conduct intelligence work and apprehend criminals. Together they uncover that Nishiki Hyonosuke, son of the respected Buddha sculptor Unkei, leads the arsonist gang responsible for the devastating Great Fire of Meireki. Hyonosuke harbors ambitions to overthrow the Tokugawa shogunate, setting him on a collision course with Mitsukuni. As the conflict escalates, Mitsukuni's wife Yasu enlists the legendary swordsman Yagyu Gisen for protection. The series weaves political intrigue, martial skill, and personal loyalty against the backdrop of feudal Japan's power struggles.
