Our Family Honor(1985)

Our Family Honor is a crime drama series that began as a two-hour TV movie, centered on two rival New York City families bound by childhood ties but divided by their worlds. The McKays are a police dynasty—Patrick serves as Police Commissioner, while his hot-headed son Frank works as a Detective Sergeant. The Danzigs operate a sprawling organized crime empire under patriarch Vincent's iron rule. When Vincent orders the murder of his wife's lover, Detective Frank arrives to arrest the culprit, Augie, Vincent's cruel and inept heir. The confrontation turns deadly. Complicating matters further, Vincent's other son Jerry wants out of the family business entirely, adopting an alias to escape his father's shadow. Meanwhile, Patrick's niece Liz, a newly graduated officer, finds herself romantically entangled with Jerry while partnered with Officer Ed Santini. The series explores the collision between duty and loyalty as these two families' secrets unravel.
