Tre kronor(1994)
Tre kronor is a Swedish soap opera that aired on TV4 from 1994 to 1999. Set in the fictional middle-class suburb of Mälarviken near Stockholm, the series followed interconnected storylines in a tight-knit community. Tre kronor competed directly with SVT's Rederiet for viewers, drawing around one to two million Swedes each week. The show featured dramatic plot twists: a post office robbery, a fatal bus crash, and a shocking suicide bombing at the restaurant that gives the series its name. The signature tune was composed by Lasse Holm. Tre kronor concluded with a devastating finale that killed off most characters, leaving only six survivors. The series spawned a spin-off film, Reine och Mimmi i fjällen!, based on two popular characters.
