Louis 28 is a French comedy series set in an alternate France where the monarchy never fell. When a plane crash wipes out the entire royal family, Samia, a mild-mannered schoolteacher, discovers her teenage son Cédric is now heir to the throne. Born from a brief affair with a nobleman, the naive and simple-minded Cédric becomes King Louis 28—complete with absurd plans like abolishing mathematics. But a scheming regent stands ready to undermine the young king at every turn, determined to seize power. As mother and son navigate the treacherous palace court, they find themselves surrounded by backstabbing nobles and political intrigue, wholly unprepared for the cutthroat world of royal politics.
