Shijuukara is a Japanese drama series following Watanuki Shinobu, a manga artist who has spent two decades in the profession while struggling with unfulfilled ambitions despite being married with a son. Just as she considers abandoning her creative pursuits, her earlier works suddenly gain traction on ebook platforms, reigniting her passion. Determined to create again, Shinobu hires Tachibana Chiaki, a 22-year-old assistant, whose arrival marks a turning point in her stalled life. As the two work together, Shinobu discovers renewed purpose and momentum after years of creative stagnation, exploring themes of artistic revival, mentorship, and second chances in midlife.
