I Live Without Anything(2010)
I Live Without Anything is a series that examines how modern technology has isolated older adults in contemporary society. Once valued members of their families and communities, elderly people now find themselves sidelined as smartphones, computers, and digital devices dominate daily life. Even television treats them as afterthoughts, reduced to stereotypes of slowness and stubbornness. The show explores the widening generational divide, particularly between parents and adult children who are too absorbed in their screens to connect meaningfully with aging relatives. Through intimate portraits, it reveals the emotional toll of this digital-age neglect and questions what we've lost when we stopped listening to our elders.
