Bou Habash(1996)

Bou Habash is an Arabic comedy series centered on a miserly shopkeeper juggling family chaos and financial misfortune. Working in a clothing store, Bou Habash aggressively undercuts competitors to keep customers loyal, but his penny-pinching ways backfire spectacularly. After a customer cons him into handing over his savings with promises of profit, police recover the money—only for Bou Habash to hide it in his car for safekeeping. His son Habbash steals the vehicle, crashes it, and the car burns along with the hidden cash. The series follows Bou Habash's attempts to manage his stingy nature while living under one roof with his wife, sister, and trouble-prone son, as schemes unravel and misadventures pile up.
