Bisik-Bisik Gelora is an Indonesian series following Jad, a naive young man whose life changes forever when he meets Arumi, a spirited city girl. After being accused of khalwat—a violation of Islamic law—the pair are forced into marriage. That same night, Jad is arrested and imprisoned, leaving Arumi to move abroad and build a new life, eventually forgetting her legal ties to him. Years later, when Jad is released, he emerges consumed by thoughts of revenge.
