High Note(2022)

High Note is a Portuguese series that follows Nazaré, a woman whose ordinary life unravels when police discover drugs in fish she's transporting and counterfeit money at her workplace. She's convinced her husband's aunt, Verónica—a woman recently rescued from the sea—has framed her. Facing arrest, Nazaré flees with help from Toni, assuming a new identity as Carla Isabel to prove her innocence. On the run, she boards a tour bus for a music act and must leave her family behind. As she gains the trust of the band members and crew, Nazaré works as a bodyguard while navigating her dangerous double life. The series blends crime, deception, and survival as she races to clear her name.
