Thicker than Water(1973)

Thicker than Water is a comedy series about siblings Nellie and Ernie Paine, who return home to run the family pickle business for five years in exchange for a $75,000 inheritance each. The catch: neither of them likes pickles. Their elderly father Jonas, who shows no urgency about dying, seems to relish watching his bickering adult children struggle with the deal. As Nellie tries to keep things sensible and Ernie pursues his own interests, family tensions simmer beneath the surface of small-town business life.
