Omiai Kekkon is a Japanese comedy-romance about two wounded souls forced together by circumstance. Setsuko, a former cabin attendant, spirals into depression after her fiancé abandons her at the altar, drowning her sorrows in cigarettes and alcohol. Kotaro, a successful trading company executive, needs a wife to secure his dream assignment in Milan. When a hastily arranged meeting brings them together, neither expects anything to come from it.
