My Beloved Neighbours is a Greek series that follows two families whose worlds collide when fortune strikes. The working-class Moustoxidis family experiences a dramatic reversal of fortune after their daughter Betty wins a reality singing competition and becomes a superstar overnight. Suddenly wealthy, they relocate to an affluent neighbourhood and become neighbours with the sophisticated Papapavlos family. The clash between the newly rich, working-class sensibilities of the Moustoxidis clan and the refined, established lifestyle of their Athenian neighbours drives the heart of the story. As the families navigate their unexpected proximity, cultural differences, and the challenges that come with sudden wealth and fame, tensions and humour emerge from their contrasting worlds colliding under one street.
