Soar High!(2022)

Soar High! is a Japanese animated series following Iwakura Mai, a shy girl whose life transforms when she visits her grandmother on Nagasaki's Goto Islands. Mesmerized by traditional Baramon kites soaring against the sky, Mai dreams of becoming a pilot. Back home in Higashi Osaka, where her father runs a small factory, she discovers the path to aviation is harder than expected. As Mai grows closer to people in both her hometowns, her ambition evolves. She rallies a group of passionate friends to build a small electric plane capable of connecting the islands. What begins as one girl's personal dream becomes a shared mission, transforming Soar High! into a story about how individual aspirations can lift an entire community toward the sky.
