Her quest for revenge would lead her from occupied France to the boardrooms and bedrooms of the world's super-rich
Sins is a 1986 CBS miniseries starring Joan Collins as a woman who survives the Nazi occupation of France and climbs the ranks of the fashion world despite mounting personal hardships. Based on Judith Gould's 1982 novel, the drama follows her character through postwar struggles and ambition in a glamorous but cutthroat industry. Collins served as executive producer alongside her then-husband Peter Holm, and her wardrobe featured 85 costume changes throughout the series. Carly Simon co-wrote and performed the theme song, "It's Hard to be Tender." Produced by New World Television, Sins blends historical drama with the opulence and intrigue of high fashion.
