L'Maktoub(2022)

L'Maktoub is a Moroccan drama series following Hind, a young woman caught between family shame and unexpected romance. When her mother Halima's work as a folk singer becomes an obstacle to Hind's engagement, her fiancé abandons her. Her life takes a dramatic turn when Omar El Maataoui, a wealthy businessman twice her age, falls for her and defies his family to pursue marriage. As Hind navigates social stigma, class differences, and her mother's unconventional career, she must decide what she truly wants.
