Wrong Carriage Right Groom is a Chinese historical romance series set during the Tang Dynasty in Yangzhou. Two brides—Du Bing Yan and Li Yu Hu—are scheduled to marry on the same day: one to the sickly third son of a powerful mansion, the other to a bandit who has kidnapped her father. When they visit the Temple of the Mountain God before their ceremonies, a sudden fire forces them to flee in chaos. Each woman accidentally boards the wrong marriage sedan, arriving at the wrong groom's home. The series follows how both couples navigate the confusion and consequences of this mix-up, as unexpected bonds form and secrets unravel.
