The Architect(2023)

The Architect is a Norwegian satirical series set in near-future Oslo, where ambitious architect Julie pitches a radical solution to a housing shortage: converting abandoned underground car parks into residential flats. When a massive development project goes to tender, her unconventional idea forces collisions between idealism and bureaucracy, ambition and ethics. The show offers a pitch-black, keenly observed critique of urban development, corporate compromise, and the gap between visionary thinking and messy reality. Sharp and darkly comic, The Architect examines how good intentions curdle when they meet institutional pressure and competing interests.
