Dexter: Original Sin is a prequel series set in 1991 Miami that follows young Dexter Morgan as he transforms from student into a methodical serial killer. Unable to suppress his violent urges any longer, Dexter seeks guidance from his father Harry, who teaches him a strict code: target only those who deserve death while evading law enforcement detection. The tension escalates when Dexter lands a forensics internship at Miami Metro Police Department, forcing him to hide his dark nature while working alongside the very investigators who might expose him. The series explores how a brilliant but disturbed young man learns to weaponize his intelligence and compartmentalize his murderous impulses.
