Induk Gajah(2023)

Induk Gajah is an Indonesian romantic comedy about two young people trapped by family expectations. Ira, exhausted by pressure to lose weight and accept an arranged marriage, devises a plan with Marsel, the son of her mother's church friend. Neither wants to marry the other, so they fake a courtship to buy themselves three months of freedom from their families' matchmaking schemes. What begins as a conspiracy to escape their parents' interference evolves into genuine connection. As Ira and Marsel spend time together under the guise of getting to know each other, they discover unexpected chemistry and the possibility of real love on their own terms.
