Last Exit Schinkenstraße is a German comedy series following two unemployed musicians, trumpeter Torben and saxophonist Peter, who are suddenly kicked out of their band. Desperate for a fresh start, they flee to Mallorca with dreams of becoming pop stars in the party resort of El Arenal. Their scheme quickly unravels as they face mounting obstacles: cutthroat competition, stolen songs, romantic entanglements, and Torben's increasingly suspicious wife Ilona back in Hamburg. What begins as a carefree escape becomes a chaotic scramble for survival and redemption. The series blends music, mishap, and the clash between ambition and reality as the two friends navigate the gap between their stardom fantasies and the messy truth of the holiday circuit.
