Beyond the Rose Garden(1983)

Beyond the Rose Garden is a drama series following Ma Tianyou, an orphan raised by nuns in a Macau monastery. At nineteen, he travels to Hong Kong to search for his birth parents and moves in with retired Dr. Fung. There he meets the Wong family and develops feelings for Ah Heung, though their relationship is strained by their sibling-like closeness. When Sister Connie reveals the truth about Tianyou's past, he learns that his father is Fung's son, Yue-lai—a man with a complicated history involving Tianyou's late mother.
