Red Peafowl

Red Peafowl is a Hong Kong crime series following Lu Yi Peng, a top-performing graduate of the Royal Police Cadet School whose exemplary career hides a dark secret. A ruthless mafia figure known as Hong Kong Que—the Red Peafowl—has leverage over Yi Peng through a scar from a past mission and a coercive relationship built on manipulation and a dangerous drug. Trapped by shame and unable to confide in anyone, Yi Peng finds himself repeatedly outmaneuvered by his tormentor. The series explores Yi Peng's internal struggle as he grapples with the source of this twisted karma while plotting to finally bring Hong Kong Que to justice. Caught between duty and desperation, Yi Peng must navigate a web of crime and corruption that threatens both his career and his sanity.
