You Can't Wait is a Russian series following Vitalik, a young con artist who takes a job at a nursing home to escape his creditors. He initially sees the elderly residents as easy marks and a quick way to earn cash. But Vitalik soon discovers these pensioners are former criminals with remarkable pasts—seasoned hustlers who've lived full, dangerous lives. As he spends time with them, his cynicism cracks. He begins to understand that beneath their aging bodies burns the same hunger for meaning and connection he feels. What starts as a survival strategy becomes a genuine reckoning with who he wants to become. Vitalik's transformation comes at a cost, forcing him to choose between his old life and the unexpected family he's found.
