War of Faith is a 1928-set drama following Wei Ruolai, an ambitious financial institution employee determined to serve his country. Mentored by senior adviser Shen Tunan, Wei leverages his exceptional memory and analytical skills to gain favor within the organization. Yet his position exposes him to the rampant corruption and moral decay plaguing the financial sector under Kuomintang rule. As Wei witnesses firsthand the darkness embedded in the system, he faces a mounting conflict between personal ambition and ethical conviction.
