The Wilder(2023)

The Wilder is a drama series that follows Eva, a young Greek-Romanian girl with a speech impediment who loses both parents in a sudden accident. With no other options, custody falls to Loukas, her estranged and prejudiced grandfather who has never met her—and refuses to take her in. Social worker Marina, herself scarred by a difficult childhood, becomes Eva's unlikely advocate. Determined to help the girl, Marina confronts Loukas about his past and pushes him toward change. As she fights for Eva's future, both Marina and Loukas are forced to confront their own demons and discover paths to redemption neither expected. The series explores family, prejudice, and the transformative power of compassion.
