Crybaby is a Russian series following Masha, a Moscow schoolgirl uprooted to the provincial town of Novoorsk after her family relocates. Struggling to adapt after attending an elite gymnasium, Masha becomes an easy target for relentless bullying from her new classmates. The harassment intensifies when she develops feelings for Chris's boyfriend, a charismatic school rebel, prompting Chris to saddle her with the cruel nickname "Crybaby." Isolated and overwhelmed, Masha finds solace in music and forms a band with fellow students who understand her pain. As she channels her emotions into songwriting and performance, Crybaby explores themes of adolescent resilience, social cruelty, and the redemptive power of artistic expression in the face of psychological and physical torment.
