Indal is an Israeli drama series that follows a group of Ethiopian Israeli youth who kidnap a police officer responsible for years of abuse and the murder of their friend. What begins as a personal act of revenge transforms into a sweeping national protest movement against police brutality and systemic inequality. Led by Selam, the sister of the officer's victim, and Indal, a small-time criminal, the group seizes an abandoned public pool and establishes it as an autonomous zone for their struggle. The series explores themes of grief, rage, and collective action as a community fights back against institutional violence and demands justice.
