Love on Trial(2013)
Love on Trial follows Pavel, a 35-year-old widower whose devotion to beekeeping has left his children, eight-year-old Lucy and four-year-old Petya, largely neglected. When guardianship authorities threaten to remove the children, Pavel places a newspaper ad seeking a wife to help raise them. Natalia, a librarian, answers the call and moves into his home. But Pavel remains grief-stricken over his late wife and resists Natalia's presence, while the children grow jealous of their father's new companion. Caught between a grieving widower and resentful kids, Natalia must navigate a household fraught with tension and unresolved loss as she fights to keep the family together.
