Paik's Les Misérables is a South Korean cooking competition series that follows celebrity chef Paik Jong Won as he mentors 20 contestants through a transformative culinary journey. Each participant carries a difficult past—regrets, hardship, or lost hope—and sees this program as their chance to rebuild. Paik assembles a team of accomplished chefs including Kim Min Sung, David Lee, Lim Tae Hoon, and Yoon Nam No to teach cooking fundamentals and restaurant management skills. Beyond technique, the series explores redemption and second chances as contestants work to leave their struggles behind and launch new lives.
