Alahed is a Syrian drama series set in a Damascus neighborhood across two timelines spanning 15 years. The narrative moves between the Ottoman occupation and the period leading to Damascus's liberation, following the intense power struggles among local notables as they grapple with resistance and survival. Caught between colonial rule and the desire for freedom, the neighborhood's influential figures clash over how to respond to occupation, their personal ambitions and loyalties tested by the larger forces reshaping their world.
