SIMOSA(2025)

Simosa is an Iraqi drama following a man who returns home after years abroad to confront a family crisis. His brother-in-law is intent on killing his niece, forcing him into a desperate rescue mission. When he reaches her, he discovers she struggles with addiction—a revelation that complicates his efforts to protect her. Torn between family obligation and the harsh reality of her condition, he fights to save both his niece and his sister from the violence and despair threatening to destroy them. The film explores themes of duty, redemption, and the cost of returning to a fractured home.
