I Fought the Law is a British drama series following Ann Ming as her 22-year-old daughter Julie vanishes without explanation. When police dismiss the case, suggesting Julie has run off to London to rejoin her estranged husband, Ann refuses to accept their theory. She knows her daughter would never abandon her young son Kevin, now left in her care. Convinced something far darker has occurred, Ann embarks on a desperate search for answers, challenging the authorities and uncovering troubling truths along the way. The series explores a mother's unwavering determination to find her missing child and her battle against a system reluctant to help.
